Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

Peace and grace from our God the Father and His only begotten Son our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Our church, St. Abanoub Church in Springfield, VA, is urgently looking to raise $450,000 for a 25% down payment on a church. There is already a competing offer on the church that has to be beat, and the money has to be raised within the next few days (ASAP)!

This is an incredible opportunity for our church, as we are currently paying for renting a warehouse nearly double what the mortgage for this church will be.  Our church is currently serving seventy-five families mostly new-comers from our blessed original home, Egypt. The church has been founded to serve Alexandria, Springfield, Lorton, Annandale, and Woodbridge, where an estimated one hundred and seventy-four Coptic families reside.

The opportunity is an existing church with a 250-seat sanctuary, a social hall, a kitchen, 2 offices, 2 storage closets, 52 parking spaces sitting on one full acre of land. The asking price is $1.65M.

For donations under $1000, you can donate directly via paypal using the church link: stabanoubva.org

For larger donations please bank-transfer or wire-transfer money directly to the following account (to avoid the PayPal fees):

Capital One Bank Routing Number: 065000090

Account Number: 3026324377

Checks may also be made payable to “Saint Abanoub Coptic Orthodox Church of Springfield, building fund” and can be put in the marked box at church or mailed to:

Saint Abanoub Coptic Orthodox Church, 7701 Fullerton Road,Springfield, VA 22153

The church is also willing to receive loans (to be repaid with interest, if you desire). Loans will begin repayment in 2 years, and will be paid over the course of the following 4 years.

Your contribution to our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is tax-deductible, and a receipt letter will be issued to you upon request.

May our Lord reward you richly and bless you abundantly for your generosity and grant His blessings through the works of His Precious Saint Abanoub!  Please continue to pray earnestly for the growth of this Church to support His flock.

For any questions or to set up a loan, please contact Madeleine Andrawis at (605) 691-9907.

In Christ,

The board of St. Abanoub Coptic Orthodox Church of Springfield
